The Gippsland Portal

The Gippsland Regional Portal
www.gippsland.com
- One of biggest achievements

Although Messenger did successful produce many great products and services, its great public achievement would most likely be the Gippsland Portal. Gippsland.com is Australia's most successful Internet Regional Portal. It was designed, built and facilitated by the team at Messenger from June 2001 to December 2002. It was successfully launched in October 2002 and handed over to the peak regional government body (Green Inc) in April 2003.

If the Gippsland Portal stands the test of time, then its will remain the greatest legacy of Messenger that touched many ten of thousands of people. More on Messenger's Role in the Gippsland Portal.

IMMC 2002
Operation Blade
Gareth, Wayne and I did so well with the Maintenance Journal in 2002 that the client took us to the Gold Coast to assist in the International Management Maintenance Conference. We got to meet up with Andrew and Dan and had a great time with lots of adventures. The most famous episode was the three of us driving over 90 km from the Gold Coast to Brisbane by moped!
